APWAP is always looking for new members! To fully join the organization, you will need to complete these steps.
Step 1: Preliminary Visits (pre-visits)
All prospective members must conduct two preliminary visits without their animal in order to observe a normal APWAP visit.
Step 2: Temperament Test and Certification
After conducting two visits, you will need to attend a certification test with your animal.
- If you pass, you will need to conduct three supervised visits with an APWAP member.
- If you do not pass the test, APWAP leadership will recommend strategies to help you prepare to retest in the future.
You will need to coordinate with APWAP leadership to arrange the supervised visits. After successful completion of three supervised visits, you will be able to sign up visits normally.
